Specially created to help pollinators such as bees, hoverflies and butterflies, this mix contains around 40 species to ensure the longest possible flowering season. From a late March sowing it will provide colour, pollen and nectar from early June until the first frosts.
Flower Power Mix
Inspired by the paintings of Claude Monet, this mix can be sown in August to September, for an early summer display, or February to the end of March, for a later display. The flowers bloom for 3-4 weeks, but the border can be cleared and a second sowing can give an extra display well into late summer.
Monet Mix
Similar in composition to our standard Annual mix, but with the emphasis on the taller species such as sunflowers, this mix is especially good for large areas such as wide planting strips, parks, larger gardens, golf courses etc. Not only is this a good mix for pollinators, but birds will benefit too.
Van Gogh Mix
A colourful native meadow mix designed to work in the widest possible range of soils and conditions. Contains a small proportion of fine-leaved, non-competitive grass species for that authentic meadow look.
UK Native Meadow mix
Low-growing UK native meadow mix, full of colour and perfect for pollinators, and ideal for road verges or any site where height is an issue.
Rural Highways mix
Low-growing mix, full of colour and perfect for pollinators, and ideal for road verges or any site where height is an issue. Comprises UK native meadow species boosted by a selection of high-impact northern hemisphere prairie perennials.

Welcome to the FlowerScapes online shop

We offer two main categories of seed mix; annual and perennial. Each has its pros and cons.

Annuals are quick to germinate, quick to flower and provide a long-lasting display of colour impossible to beat for sheer ‘wow’ factor. The downside is that they generally need to be re-sown into disturbed ground at the start of each year.

Perennial mixes have a shorter flowering season and are more subtle in the range of colours they provide, but have the advantage that they only need to be sown once.

Annual mixes lend themselves to use in flower beds and planters, whereas perennials can be used to create a more permanent vegetation type similar to a conventional ‘meadow’. But these are just guidelines; in practice, the two can be interchanged or even mixed. There are no rules! And remember - all our mixes are perfect for pollinators.

5g, 100g and 1kg packs are available in our shop. Other quantities are available on request - get in touch to discuss your requirements and bulk discounts.
